Keumsan Gallery

Since its opening in Seoul in 1992, Keumsan Gallery has been organizing and introducing exhibitions on painting, installation, media art, sculpture, photography, and printmaking, covering all genres of modern and contemporary art. In addition, the gallery has endeavored to be the leader in introducing contemporary art overseas, and has continued to introduce renowned international artists to Korea such as Kusama Yayoi, Keiji Uematsu, Yuki Onodera, Aoki Noe, Wang Du, Ito Toshimitsu, Zhan Wang, Rosemarie Trockel, Sui Jianguo, Araki Nobuyoshi, Oscar Oiwa, Ota Saburo, Yuki Matsueda, Jean-Marie Haessle, Ji Da Chun, Claude Viallat, Tatsumi Orimoto, Fang Lijun, and through showcasing in a number of international cultural exchange exhibitions. In addition, the gallery has represented major Korean artists including Kukjin Kang, Daehun Kwon, Yongrae Kwon, Kim 25, Daesu Kim, Dongyu Kim, Sungnam Kim, Taeho Kim, Changkyum Kim, Joonyong Moon, Seobo Park, Seungmo Park, Younggeun Park, Bien U Bae, Joonsung Bae, Junghee Seo, Chuljoo Suk, Jun Ahn, Sejoong Oh, Dongsu Lee, Ufan Lee, Jaehyo Lee, Husik Joo, Yongdon Choi, KUN, and Seungku Han. Keumsan Gallery seeks to unite cultures by promoting cultural exchange programs among all around the world through art itself. Moreover, Keumsan Gallery has continuously represented Korean artists in international art market from early on, by participating in a number of overseas art fairs taking place in countries including Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, Europe and U.S.A.
